I just want you to know that I am so HAPPY I found BurnAware!

I was looking for a software that could help me shrink the files I have and create it into a DVD-video. With the built it burner of Windows 7 out of the 22 videos I have, it only would fit 5 videos in one 4.7 GB blank DVD. So it means I would be using 5 blank DVDs to complete the 22 videos. However, with the BurnAware, specifically the free one, I burned all 22 files into one 4.7 GB blank DVD.

Imagine how much I saved on this free software! I recommend this to all the people who were having the same problem as me. After all, being an SEO means having to save a lot of files and we don’t want a slow PC do we? So we need to store it somewhere else and USB flash disc would be too expensive.

My daughter like to watch videos on YouTube. I let her watch Barney or Dora in it, but there are just some people who would edit or create videos of Barney or Dora that is not suitable for children to watch.

Today, from a friends blog, I found Totlol. It is a video website, powered by YouTube that is designed for kids. Here is a screenshot of the site:

From the frontpage of the site, you know its for the kids. It is also safe since they have put up some security measures. I guess every parents wants their children to enjoy and be secured of what they are watching. Check it out.

It has been a long time that I wasn’t able to use my windows laptop because I usually bring my MacBook in the office now. With the need of IE, I had no choice but to bring my Toshiba-windows laptop with broken keys.

I was able to install the latest Yahoo Messenger. I have been using it for a week now, and just this morning, I found out that whenever you give a link of a Youtube video to your friends through Yahoo Messenger, the video would actually be shown on the Messenger window. Check the screen shot below.

This is indeed a great upgrade, to have an ease on the users side, because they don’t need to open the video URL, but they could watch it instantly from the messenger window while chatting.

BlogTV is a great site for those aspiring to be celebrities. When you register, you will have your own space in the web to broadcast live videos. There is a chat board as well for you to interact with your viewers. The best thing about it because it is all for free.

Yesterday, I found this useful tool. As a blogger, I often need images to share to other bloggers. I have found an easy way to grab and share it to them.

Skitch is a screen grab software that lets you copy an image on your screen or desktop.

Here is a video tutorial on how easy it is to use Skitch.

If you belong in a Quality Assurance department, you might need this. This is a free software, unlike other competitors like Snag-it. Currently, Skitch is in beta. Try it, it works wonderfully.
