Hi, since it has been a long time I wasn't able to edit my category, I am no longer an Dmoz editor. However I could share a few of the things I know how editors approve a submission.

* The title should be the filled up specifically as the title of the site and not the product you want to promote
ex: www.pinayseo.com should have a title "Pinay SEO" not "SEO Services"
* Description should be specific and should not sound like an advertisement

That is all I could remember, but I think it is written in the guidelines. Just read the instructions thoroughly.

You have to know that the editors are voluntary, therefore not being paid. So I guess most editors like me would prefer some payment for time spent, so if editors doesn't have a free time they won't be able to visit and approve. The editor in the category you have applied may not be active, so might as well try a new category that will be fit for your site.

I chanced upon this post of yours I would like to ask for your assistance. I've been trying to list my website in DMOZ for a number of times now but I usually schedule it every 4 to 6 months.

But until now, I still haven't been listed in my selected category. Can you please provide me any helpful tips?

Upon arriving to http://www.dmoz.org/ select the category that best fits your site. It is best to go deeper within the categories. Then click suggest URL and it will take you to the process.
The help page will occur, if you click suggest URL on the main page of http://www.dmoz.org/ or your category still needs to be narrowed to best fit your site's category.
